D.I.Y -How to install rotor disk for proton car

Today tutorial is about installation PRO RIDE cross-drilled & slotted rotors for wira/satria 1.3. No major modification is needed, just plug & play. In my case, am using 1.5 rotor so will need minor modification.

General info for PRO RIDE rotors
Basically it is design to provide better heat dissipation than pure slotted rotors while providing more surface area of contact with the brake pads compare to pure cross-drilled rotors. Available for all Malaysian car

PRO RIDE cross-drilled & slotted rotors (double layer type)
For 1.3 use single layer rotor

OEM rotors. Ok, before come out till this stage, what you need to do is to unbolt your tires and your brake caliper. Until you already take out all this parts, than you can take out the OEM rotors. Some tricks for this part, your rotor might not come out easily as it already been install since you purchase your car. So, what you need is a bolts size 12mm and a hammer. Slowly you screw in the bolt into the hole that i marked in the photo and knock the rotor slowly with hammer. You will notice your rotor slowly come out =)

Here is the photo of my 4g13p brake caliper. Complete with its brake pad

This picture is only to show why i cannot use the 1.3 caliper for 1.5 PRO RIDE double layer rotors. Technically the caliper size is all same but the gap for brake pad & rotor is to small and it will give not enough clearance. But, if its the 1.3 PRO RIDE single layer rotors, there will be no issue for this.
